Congrats to the CARs who ran today’s Boston Marathon! Marty McCormick led our men’s finishers with his 2:31:17 PR which broke his own CAR Masters Record by 16 seconds. Gabrielle McKenzie led our women’s finishers with her 2:58:17 PR. Full CAR results can be found below.

At the Boston Marathon, as mentioned above Marty McCormick broke his own CAR Masters Record with his 2:31:17 PR (#7 all-time CAR men’s performers list), Matt Kaler ran 2:56:07 (splits 1:29:36/1:26:31), Gabrielle McKenzie was our top female finisher with her 2:58:17 PR (splits 1:29:22/1:28:55) that moved her up 2 spots to #30 on the all-time CAR women’s performers list, Lindsay Wilkins (3:00:53) and former CAR Sharon Lemberger (3:02:52) ran together for much of the race to finish 10th and 16th in the 45-49 AG, Daryle Lademan ran 3:36:13, Megan Lang ran 3:37:10, Mary Legere ran 4:01:26 and Pat Neff ran 4:30:07.

At the Woodward Relays, Callie Wallace ran 5:34 on the 1600m anchor leg of Maret’s 5th place Distance Medley Relay (13:55.46) and 2:39 on the 800m anchor leg of Maret’s school record Sprint Medley Relay (4:48.26).
