I don’t think we had anyone race this past weekend, but I had meant to mention last week (but had a brain cramp and forgot to include it) that there were a couple of notable performances by former CARs who still have loose affiliations with the team. Jillian Pollack finished 11th at the Ottawa Marathon in 2:48:15 (splits 1:24:43/1:23:32; her first ever negative split marathon) and Tony Gao ran 56:59 (previous best 1:03:06) at the Soldier Field 10 Mile in Chicago (although the course may have been about 150m short due to some last minute re-routing). Congrats to Jill and Tony!
