At the Berlin Marathon, Lindsay Wilkins ran 2:58:41 (splits 1:29:36/1:29:05) to finish 10th in the women’s 45-49 AG, CAR alum Sharon Lemberger (now living in California) ran with Lindsay thru the first half and finished in 2:59:56 to grab 4th in the women’s 50-54 AG and Dave Lett ran 3:29:32 (splits 1:49:36/1:40:06). Lindsay’s metronomic 5k splits were 21:12, 21:11, 21:23, 21:10, 21:11, 21:00, 20:46, 21:23.
Rihana Knotts was the women’s winner at the very wet and windy Dulles 10k in 40:06 and Matt Purdin was 9th among the men’s finishers at the Dulles 5k in 19:42.
As noted above, Gabrielle McKenzie was the women’s winner (and 4th overall finisher) at the Perfect 10 Miler in 1:04:05.
Chris Carney finished 6th overall and 2nd in the 50-59 AG at the FCEF 5k in 20:30. J
ade Graham ran 15:59:39 at the UTMB Grindstone 100k. Some people just like being outside all day in tropical storms.
