Susanna Sullivan won the Women’s Olympic Development 5k at the Penn Relays in 15:29.02 which is a new PR and CAR Club Record. Susanna’s margin of victory was 24.98 seconds. She also took down her 3k PR and Club Record with her 9:16.25 split. Melissa Pfeifer finished 6th overall at the National Women’s Half Marathon in 1:27:31 (PR). At the Broad Street 10 Mile in Philly, Patrick Carter ran a 57:14 PR followed by David Kent (58:21; 3rd place 50-54 AG), Rachel Viger (59:12; 23rd overall female), Emma Unterkoefler (1:05:07 PR), Cris Burbach (1:11:40) and John Gowel (1:15:20). Damien O’Halloran ran a 3:11:27 PR (previous best 3:19:25) at the Long Island Marathon. Colorado CAR Edie Taylor knocked 13 minutes off her previous best time in running a 3:16:02 PR at the Eugene Marathon. Marty McCormick was the overall winner of the Van Metre 5k in 16:29. Chris Mills ran 1:23:27 at the Pittsburgh Half Marathon.
